Hot Stone Massage DiplomaDuring our Hot Stone Massage Diploma course the participants will learn how to apply and full body hot stone massage in a safe and effective way. Participants will learn how hot basalt stones can be used as a tool in a remedial massage or used as a tool in a pampering sort of massage. Heated Basalt Lava stones warm the client’s muscles, allowing a much deeper working of the tissues than a conventional massage. Stones are selected to correspond to specific parts of the body, oil is spread onto the client and the stone is then worked along the skin in place of the therapist’s hand. Hot stone therapy can be incorporated into many other treatments including Lomilomi, holistic and sport massage, reflexology, aromatherapy, deep tissue massage, Indian head massage and many others.
