For a long time I have had a fascination with the mind-body connection; how our state of mind influences our body and overall health. So many health issues and general unhappiness is stress related. After studying psychotherapy I've come to realise that we don't always have the words to express what we are feeling and that sometimes we need to listen to what our body is telling us.
Originally from Australia, I have been living in the UK for ten years. Having taken time off work to raise a family I have completed a Level 3 ITEC Diploma in Reflexology and Level 3 Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology for Complementary Therapies. I am a full member of Association of Reflexologists.
I am drawn to Reflexology as it helps to relieve stress and tension and improve sleep. Some of my clients have found it more relaxing than a body massage. Reflexology helps to improve blood circulation and release blocked energy. It also improves elimination and can help the body to self heal. It can also help with infertility and hormonal imbalances.
