We’ve had a busy month here at Integrated Body Dynamics, and are excited to share some of our news with you.
Therapists in Training
At the start of the month, Justin continued his training in cranial osteopathy with an intense five day post-graduate course run by the Sutherland College of Cranial Osteopathy. Sutherland was a student of AT Still, the 19th Century founder of the discipline of Osteopathy. Sutherland took on Still’s ideas and applied them to the bones of the cranium, realising that there was movement between them, and that this movement was fundamental to the health of the body. These bones have a rhythmic movement that can be sensed throughout the body and used for healing. Justin has been using these techniques since he graduated and is excited about making more use of them.
Laura returned from Thailand with a qualification in Herbal Facial Massage, and has progressed onto the Advanced Diploma of her training at the London School of Thai Yoga Massage. Stay tuned for more information about Thai Massage treatments at Integrated Body Dynamics in the near future.
Last but not least, Alison Douglas, our lovely Reflexologist (and receptionist on Mondays and Tuesdays) joins Robert and Justin this month as a student of their school Accredited Massage courses, where she will be studying Holistic Massage and expanding her healing knowledge from the feet to the rest of the body!

As the school term is back in full swing, so are our classes! Some things to note:
Dog Rescue Cyprus
Joy returns to Cyprus again this month to work again with the Dali Dog Rescue Cyprus. They take in dogs that have been abused, mistreated or found wandering the streets. They are fed and looked after, and Joy will be working with them at the pound for a week between Wednesday 11th and Wednesday 18th October. To make a donation to the cause close to Joy’s heart, please visit this page, and feel free to mention Joy Chamberlin in your donation!
That’s all from us, but if you have any questions, comments or feedback about the clinic, our classes, therapists, or treatments, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
