September 2017 Newsletter

Dear All,

Here we are again at the start of another month; the kids are going back to school, the nights are drawing in and the year keeps whizzing on by!

COURSES WE ARE TAKING

After a few quiet months over the summer, we've got plenty of exciting news to share with you about the coming month at Integrated Body Dynamics. As the school term resumes, a few members of the Integrated Body Dynamics are also heading off to learn some new skills and expand their horizons!

OSTEOPATHY AND CRANIAL OSTEOPATHY

Jenny and Justin are exchanging specialities it seems, as this month sees Jenny into her 3rd year of her Osteopathy degree, while Justin heads off to West London for a 5 day course in Cranial Osteopathic Techniques to complement his existing osteopathic knowledge. We'll keep you posted on how they are both doing.

THAI YOGA MASSAGE

Laura, one of our receptionists has been training in Thai Yoga Massage since April of this year. This evening   she is heading to Thailand for 12 days to absorb as much direct knowledge of the practice as possible. From October, she will be progressing on to the advanced course of her training, and after all the paperwork is sorted, she will be happily beginning to see clients at Integrated Body Dynamics.

MASSAGE TEACHING

Robert and Justin's sister company and school, Accredited Massage Courses, resumes again this month, with courses in Sports Massage, Holistic Massage, and a CPD Deep Tissue Massage course first on the calendar. If you’re interested in expanding your skillset, whether you’re already a trained massage therapist or not – get in touch!

CLASSES

MINDFUL MOVEMENT

A brand new weekly class is about to start at Integrated Body Dynamics! Mindful Movement with Charlotte Seirburg commences on Thursday 14th September, from 12.30pm - 1.30pm. With 10 years’ experience as a movement teacher, Charlotte is a qualified Pilates Foundation teacher, as well as in Breathworks Mindfulness for Heath, and is training to be a Feldenkrais practitioner. The classes will explore slow and gentle movements to ease tension, reduce stress, improve breathing and body awareness, restore mobility and re-balance the nervous system to optimise your health and well-being. You will also have the opportunity to practise some short guided mindfulness meditations to cultivate calmness, clarity and kindness to self. Read more about the class and Charlotte on our website: here.

Still not convinced?

Come to Charlotte's FREE taster session on Thursday 7th September at 12.30pm, here at Integrated Body Dynamics... just do let us know you are coming!

YOGA AND PILATES

Billie's yoga on a Tuesday evening is on hiatus while she is on maternity leave waiting for the arrival of baby number two. However, we'll keep you posted on any yoga classes that are scheduled during her absence. Mara, Marla and Tamsin's pilates classes resume this month, so be sure to contact your teacher if you have any questions!

HOLIDAYS

While the majority of our therapists are back from their summer holidays this month, we can't keep Robert still! He's off again for a week between 25th September - 2nd October, so be sure to get yourself booked in with him this month sooner rather than later.

UPDATES

Please don't forget to follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, as we post more regular updates about classes and availability on those platforms!

Here’s to a fantastic month, and we look forward to seeing you for another treatment soon...
