Biography:

For a long time I have had a fascination with the mind-body connection; how our state of mind influences our body and overall health.  So many health issues and general unhappiness is stress related.  After studying psychotherapy I've come to realise that we don't always have the words to express what we are feeling and that sometimes we need to listen to what our body is telling us.

Originally from Australia, I have been living in the UK for fifteen years.  After taking time off work to raise a family I completed an ITEC Diploma in Reflexology and ITEC Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology for Complementary Therapies.  Further training included a Certificate in Advanced Reflexology Techniques with Tony Porter, Pregnancy Reflexology with Louise Keets and Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage with Sally Kay.  I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists.

I am also qualified in ITEC Level 4 Sports Massage.  Sports Massage is not just for sporting injuries but helps with pain and tension as a result of postural imbalances, emotional withholding, stress and muscular knots.  I am also qualified in Holistic, Deep Tissue, Hot Stones and Pregnancy Massage.

Massage and Reflexology really complement each other and I can combine to create an individual treatment for you. Sometimes a relaxing and gentle approach is needed.  At other times a stronger treatment is required and working at a much deeper level is beneficial. Reflexology can also be very deep and therapeutic and by working firmly on the reflexes (although a little more painful) can produce more profound results.
