September 2018

Hi All,

The summer draws to a close and the jumpers are going back on, but things are just warming up here at Integrated Body Dynamics…

New Yoga Classes coming to IBD!

From Tuesday 11th September, the lovely Billie Woodcraft will be returning to IBD under new branding with Crouch-End-based Mojo Yard. They will be launching Pregnancy Yoga and Yoga Flow classes on a Tuesday evening. As an introductory offer all new clients get the chance to try out a class for free, which you can sign up to online, here.

MY Pregnancy Yoga Tuesday evenings 5.45pm – 6.45pm
This intimate pregnancy flow class focus on poses that energise and restore both mind and body.  You will learn breathing techniques and movements that can help you manage the physical changes you’ll experience during this special time and prepare you for labour.
This class can help you stay healthy, be flexible and make you feel strong and calm. It’s also a great chance to meet other local mums to be and spend time connecting with your growing baby. This class is for all levels of experience but we encourage women to rest in their first trimester and then join us.

MY Yoga Flow Tuesday evenings 7pm – 8pm
Mojo Yard teaches a dynamic style of vinyasa flow. During this class you will move seamlessly from one pose to the next in time with your breath. This flow class is for all levels. It will improve your fitness and well-being, as well as leaving you feeling calm and relaxed.

Spaces available in Pilates

Mara and Marla both have space for one new client each, on Monday mornings with Marla, and Tuesday evenings with Mara. Contact them directly to book! More information here.

Lisa’s New Lava Shells…

Lava shells are all the rage this year among “London’s ladies that spa” as an alternative to hot stone massage. You can read more about them here. Now, we’re not a spa, but we can appreciate a relaxing treatment as much as anybody! Many of you know Lisa as our hot stone massage enthusiast, and have booked in to see her for a wonderful treatment in the past. She has just acquired a set of lovely Lava Shells and will be happy to offer them as part of her treatments, based on demand. If you think you’d be interested in treating yourself to a Lava Shell Massage this month, get in touch now!

Robert’s Walk Progresses (and his planned return!)

Rob is now on day 57 of his epic walk from Land’s End to John O’Groats. You can track his progress from his website Walking to Save Dogs. He’s completed the whole length of England and is now by Loch Ness. The mountainous Scottish terrain is proving a little more challenging for both Robert and the dogs but now the end is almost in sight we are looking forward to having Robert (and the dogs!) back in the clinic at the end of the month. You can make an advance booking with Robert from the 24th September onwards.

That’s it from us this month, but as usual, we look forward to welcoming you back into the clinic for a treatment in the near future.
