Joy has finally decided to change how she works with a slight step back. She will be included more in reception work than therapy, however Joy will continue to do treatments few hours on Sundays.
Having spent most of my life in the Arts and Design fields, I became interested in my own wellbeing after a short period of ill-health. Particularly, I became interested in how the level of one's physical wellbeing impacts on every aspect of one's life.
Then two things happened. One: I discovered Tai Chi. And the second? I discovered Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage.
Both these disciplines combined the physical, mental and emotional aspects of one's wellbeing. I began formal training in both disciplines over ten years ago, little realising at the onset what a journey of discovery this would become.
The journey lead me to further studies in Anatomy and Physiology, and further qualifications in Holistic and Sports Massage. The more I expand my studies, the more I am able to integrate the techniques to provide tailored treatments for my individual clients' needs.
I am committed to helping my clients attain their best level of wellbeing.
