Hello All, and a Happy New Year to you from everybody here at Integrated Body Dynamics.
We had a lot to celebrate in December! Firstly, we had the lovely Katja’s birthday, followed by our own birthday on the 9th December. We turned eight, as last month marked the start of our 9th year in business, and we still love it! Here's to another eight more.
On the 14th December, yet another round of successful ITEC massage students qualified with Accredited Massage Courses, under Robert and Justin’s able tuition.
Finally, the Integrated Body Dynamics team made merry with our neighbours at n4workout at our joint Christmas party, which is unbelievably one of the few times we have the chance to socialise all together. Here’s some slightly blurry photos from the festivities.
Justin’s First Osteopathic Year: Graduation, AXA PPP and Aviva Insurance, Possible Publication…
The celebrations will continue into this month, as Wednesday 10th January marks Justin’s first anniversary as a fully qualified Osteopath.
In their wisdom AXA PPP and Aviva choose not to cover recently qualified Osteopaths in their first year of work. There are still a few days to go until Justin reaches his anniversary and he is struggling with their bureaucracy, however, any of you insured with either of these providers should be able to claim treatments with Justin soon.
Although Justin’s been qualified since January 2017, the graduation ceremony wasn’t until November when he received his degree from Princess Anne, Chancellor of the new renamed University College of Osteopathy.
In even more recent news, plans are afoot for Justin’s Masters Dissertation to be included in a group article which may be published in the International Journal of Osteopathic Medicine (IJOM) at some point in the probably distant future. How exciting!
Change of Therapists’ Hours
We mentioned this last month, but thought it was worth mentioning again, as our diary is getting a bit of a shake up from this month, so do make a note if these changes affect your usual slot with your therapist!
That’s it for this month, but we’d like to say thank you to everybody who has made the last eight years possible, it's been a pleasure! We'd also like to extend a special thank you to everyone who bought one of our Christmas Gift Vouchers for a loved one, we’re looking forward to seeing old and new faces as they come in to redeem their treatments. We’re honoured to have been a part of your Christmas generosity, and hope to see you in 2018. We look forward to seeing what this year has in store for us!
All the best,
Everyone at Integrated Body Dynamics
