I am qualified in ITEC Level 4 Sports Massage. Sports Massage is not just for sporting injuries but helps with pain and tension as a result of postural imbalances, stress and muscular tightness, especially due to our sedentary lifestyles and/or desk jobs. I use a range of techniques (deep tissue, soft tissue release, trigger point and myofascial release) to help you recover from any injuries, manage chronic pain (especially in the lower back, neck and shoulders) and improve posture and movement.

Further training in massage includes Holistic/Swedish, Hot Stones, Pregnancy and Manual Lymphatic Drainage.

For many years I have been interested in the mind-body connection and how our state of mind influences our body and overall health and the impact of stress on our bodies. Reflexology is a holistic healing practice based on the principle that specific points on the feet and hands correspond to different organs and systems of the body. By applying pressure to the points, practitioners aim to stimulate the body’s natural healing processes, reduce stress and restore balance.

Many clients report a sense of emotional wellbeing during and after a treatment and an improvement in mood, sleep and mental clarity. Regular treatments can help with digestion, immune health, hormonal imbalances, pain relief and energy levels. I am continually amazed by the way Reflexology helps with chronic issues and improves the generally quality of life.

I am also qualified in Facial Reflexology and Natural Facial Rejuvenation Massage. Both treatments help to release long held tension in the face, jaw and neck and can be beneficial for people suffering from headaches, insomnia, migraines and sinusitis whilst improving the muscle tone and texture of the face.

Massage and Reflexology really complement each other and I can combine to create an individual treatment for you.
