Our Acupuncturist Jules’ Tips for Wellness

Acupuncture - Integrated Body Dynamics

In TCM, the nape of the neck is a key entry point for pathogens.

Scarves help protect this sensitive area from sudden chills and drafts. During winter, nature slows down, and we should too. Honour your body’s need for more rest and sleep. Going to bed earlier supports Kidney Yin and Yang balance, which are essential foundations for vitality through the colder months.

Drink plenty of warm fluids, which help your Qi move freely. If you feel the early signs of a cold, fresh ginger tea with honey and a touch of cinnamon can help disperse it before it settles deeper into the body. Additionally, regular acupuncture treatments can help strengthen the immune system and reduce the likelihood of colds developing.
